Studio Mission
What the studio does for student performers and composers.
Teaching musicianship skills for a lifetime of musical enjoyment. The studio imparts to students a complete & quality music education that allows for the ability to create, perform & find peace and comfort through music.
Teacher Goals: To share the desire to make music an important part of each student’s life. To provide encouragement to students in a caring and comfortable environment. To set benchmarks and goals so that each student is able to accomplish to their highest ability.
Teacher Credentials: Bachelors Degree from Utah State University, Advanced Certificate in Piano Performance from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music in London, Nationally Certified Teacher of Music through the Music Teachers National Association. Continuing education from Berklee College of Music, seminars, classes and summer workshop such as the Keyboard Ensemble and Technology Workshop.
Piano coaches, Ilana Mysior, Sheila Lowery Ferguson, Dr. Hiromi Ohmori, Dr. Yelana Balabanova. Thirty plus years of teaching experience.
Professional Solo and Accompaniment in USA, Japan and South Korea.
Current Projects: Mile High Music Makers Compose Project, KEYBAND! USA Festival featuring the Mile High Music Makers, CSMTA Composition Competition Coordinator and Wyoming Federation of Music Clubs Composition Chair and Junior Division Chair.
The studio is affiliated with the following professional organizations: Music Teachers National Association and National Federation of Music Clubs, and the Society of Composers.
